Sutton Hoo chickens are truly free range with meadows to roam and trees to roost in. They are given the environment to exhibit all their natural behaviours and no routine antibiotics and never any growth hormones are given. The breed used are slower growing, which allows the flavour and succulence to develop more fully. In the words of Belinda Nash co-founder of Sutton Hoo chickens:

Cooking Instructions: 20mins per 500g, plus 20mins at Gas Mark 4, 180’C for best results roast a chicken breast side down, turning over to brown the ‘top’ for the last 30-40 minutes. Ensure meat is piping hot and juices are running clear. If the bird is stuffed or covered with foil, longer cooking time is required
